Our Story
From the Ground Up
ADRI Research Institute was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that good decisions require good evidence — and that evidence is only valuable when it reaches the people who need it most.
We set out to build a research institution that understood both the rigour of international methodology and the complexity of East African development challenges. One that could move between a national policy office and a rural farming community with equal confidence and credibility.
Today, ADRI operates across Uganda and the wider East African region, working with development organisations, government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to design and deliver research that informs real decisions, improves real programmes, and changes real lives.
