Apollo Mugumya is the engine behind ADRI's field operations — a seasoned research operations specialist with over 10 years of experience leading large-scale, multi-regional research projects across Uganda.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Uganda Christian University, and brings deep expertise in field logistics, team coordination, data collection management, and financial oversight for research projects. Apollo is proficient in digital data collection platforms and applies rigorous quality assurance protocols to every engagement he leads.

His field experience spans agricultural research, policy and economic studies, health and social research, and food security surveys — giving him a cross-sectoral field capability that few researchers in Uganda can match. Apollo is also multilingual, with native proficiency in Runyankole-Rukiga and excellent command of Runyoro-Rutooro, Luganda, and English — a significant asset in community-level research across Uganda's diverse regions.
