About
Dr. Wilson Mugizi brings rare depth to ADRI's research leadership — combining decades of academic excellence with hands-on experience leading research and consultancy across Uganda's education and development sectors.
He holds a PhD and Master's in Educational Management and a Bachelor of Arts with Education from Makerere University. He has served in key academic and research leadership roles at Kyambogo University and Kampala International University-Western Campus, including postgraduate coordination and membership across multiple university committees.
Dr. Mugizi has led and contributed to research projects and policy-driven consultancy assignments in collaboration with UNDP, World Vision Uganda, and Sida, among others. He has supervised numerous Master's and PhD students and serves as an external examiner at Makerere University, Kabale University, Ndejje University, and Mountains of the Moon University.
A prolific scholar, Dr. Mugizi has authored over 65 journal articles, book chapters, and scholarly publications on pedagogy, higher education, and technology in education. He is highly proficient in quantitative research and a range of statistical analysis tools.
